As long as I can remember, I have been an animal lover, rescuing birds, squirrels, raccoons, and even a couple skunks. I've also had a love for photography. This combination has led me to help animals in need the best way I know how.

I have photographed dozens of homeless dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs to help them find their forever homes.

Last year, I partnered with the Humane Society of Michigan to create their calendar to raise much-needed money. A great deal of the pets photographed were adopted by their current families. It was a very eye-opening and rewarding experience. I plan on continuing our partnership for years to come.

Discovering what I could capture, I started seeing the unique bond between humans and their pets, even the bond between caregivers and the pets they foster while hoping to get them home. I knew I needed to take it further. So, five years ago, Joni Roberts Pet Photography, "Pets Got Personality", was created. I am deeply committed to providing humans with cherished portraits of their beloved fur babies, ensuring they have timeless artwork to treasure for a lifetime. While I am passionate about my craft, what truly drives me is the joy I can bring to pet owners by capturing the very essence of their special bond.
